What Is Termiticide?

There are two main types of termiticides: repellents and non-repellents. Repellent termiticides create a barrier that termites avoid, while non-repellent termiticides are undetectable to termites. When termites come into contact with a non-repellent termiticide, they unknowingly spread the chemical to the rest of the colony, leading to its gradual elimination.

This was my first foundation issue and I didn’t know what to expect when I inquired on the website. Gregg came to my home within just a few days of my inquiry to view the issues. He was prompt and professional and brought the right tools to see what we were dealing with and to propose a proper solution. We talked through plan A and what plan B might look like. He sent a quote over for plan A within 24 hours that I felt was very reasonable. After sitting on the quote for a couple months Heather reached out via text to see if I was still interested in having the work done. I was glad she did and worked with her via text to get this project scheduled and funded. The date we set was several months away, but Heather reached out again one week prior to the appointment we had made to confirm. The morning of the appointment Wayne called to let me know he was on the way with his crew. They arrived on time and got to work finishing up faster than I expected. Within 2 hours they had lifted my slab back to level and cleaned up after themselves. My door opens and closes again. The wall cracks shrunk down to almost nothing and the ground around the problem area lifted up which should help with drainage. Overall I am very pleased to see this done and done so easily. I didn’t need to worry as much as I did. The communication and professionalism of this team was top notch!

We had such a great experience with Foundation Recovery Systems and I highly recommend them! Communication was great all around. The salesman Eric S was super helpful! He explained what another contractor did wrong and helped me with how to respond to that contractor. He took texts and answered questions prior to us signing the contract, and then between signing and install. Then the crew who did the install was fantastic too! Foreman Greg H and his crew worked so hard and fast! They did a helpful walk through before the job began and answered questions. On the second day of install was a snowstorm and they came anyways to finish the job, even though they could have delayed. One of the guys was manually mixing cement in 0 degree temps! They laid the cement very nicely, much smoother than the contractor we had before. And I was especially impressed that the cleaned up so well, better than how they found it (with the mess from the earlier contractor).

I’ve got to hand it to Foundation Recovery Systems. It’s pretty rare to find a company these days that genuinely takes care of its people, but these guys get it exactly right. What really stood out to me is their employee ownership program. You can tell the guys working on your house actually care because they have real skin in the game. That ownership culture explains why their employee retention is so great, people actually want to stay and work there. Even with how efficient they are, they don't skip a single beat when it comes to the quality of the project. The work is rock solid, and they don't cut corners. I just had Kevin from Foundation Recovery Systems out to inspection my log home. I was worried about cracks in my drywall and foundation, and was recommended to Foundation Recovery systems. They were pleasant on the phone when scheduling, and got me an appointment pretty quickly. I was sent confirmations and reminders, which I appreciated because my memory is not the best. Kevin called 30 minutes before arrival as promised and showed up right on time. He was such a nice person, I felt comfortable letting him in my home and trusted him to walk around on his own. He let me show him the areas of concern and then explained his process in finding out what, if anything, they can do for me. It didn't take him long, and he came to show me the results and was honest and said there was nothing wrong, just the house contrasting in the heat/cold. So while I don't need their services past this inspection, I would 100% recommend Foundation Recovery Systems and Kevin for any work you may need done.

I engaged Foundation Recovery Systems to raise the sinking level of the main floor of my house when a trusted friend told me he'd had them do work for him and was very happy. I am also. The company asked that 90 minutes of my time be set aside for the exploration of the site. The representative who came was excellent in explaining the company philosophy and connections, and then went into the crawlspace to check the situation. He came up and outlined what had to be done, the duties of the three-person crew itself, the materials to be used, and drew a schematic of the placement of the jacks. He wrote the estimate, I approved and made a down payment, and a day later, he phoned to tell me the two consecutive days he estimated the job would take. The crew arrived on the dot, and were very respectful of my home as they went about their business. The steel jacks they used looked like they could do the job and last forever. The company warranty extends to the next purchaser. It is expensive; I did not bother to get another estimate, I was sold on their contract and the fact my friend (a lifetime of working in construction) vouched for them.
