Tyler M. arrived on time for a free inspection of my basement foundation issue. He was kind, and professional and a good listener to my story about what happened in my basement and how it happened. Tyler M. explained the 3 options that I have to keep water from coming into my basement from storms. He also went out of his way to make some calls on my behalf to find other companies to help me resolve my other basement issues. I highly recommend Tyler M. He has very good problem solving skills. He wrote up the quote while still at my home and walked me through it. I don’t know yet which option I will pick, but I know Tyler M. will continue to be great to work with!

Thankfully my inspection revealed no foundation issues, Ed Macdonald from Foundation Recovery Systems was extremely helpful in identifying my problem and providing valuable guidance on how best to address it. In an era where unnecessary repairs and poor customer service are common, this was not the case with Foundation Recovery Systems, and Ed in particular. Great overall experience from the appointment scheduling, communications, and appointment. Would highly recommend to all my friends and family! A+++++++

We just had our crawlspace updated with a drainage system and encapsulation. Tyler, Sincere, Jon and Chris were fantastic! They communicated everything and were very courteous and professional. I could tell that they enjoyed working together. It’s not easy work, but they were always smiling and seemed to take pride in their work. I can’t recommend them enough. We had several bids and FRS ended up being the favorite!

I highly recommend Scott Cisco! As soon as he left our house I knew I wanted to leave him a personal review and a company review. Scott was very kind, thorough, and he gained my trust quickly at his initial appointment. He listened to everything I had to say, did his own careful assessment, and didn’t come off as salesy – I felt as if I was talking with a neighbor or friend. You can tell he has your best interest at heart in his recommendations. I would trust his recommendations with my home time and time again, and I’ll be recommending him to anyone I know who needs foundation/waterproofing services. In addition, I really love how Foundation Systems Recovery was quick to get us scheduled. Other places I called were booked out for weeks. I called Foundation Systems on a Friday and they were able to get me in on a Monday, which is great when you’re dealing with a stressful water situation. On top of that, they gave me an appt time and Scott was on time, called me when he was on his way AND they have a gps link tracker that allows you to see in real time what the ETA will be – super convenient. I was hesitant to use a big multi-state company over a smaller business, but I’m glad I used Foundation Systems Recovery. Again, thank you and thank you Scott!

Todd did a great job walking me through the process and letting me know what actually needed to be done and not sell me other things like the other company did. I had an outstanding experience with the crew of Shawn, Jon, and Jaren who came to our Olathe home on Friday, June 23, 2017. I had used FRS previously for some leveling of our drive and sidewalk.This time we had them install a steel beam and 3 support posts with jacking capability to level our badly sloping deck. The guys worked quickly and efficiently and finished by around noon. I was counting on this solution to be phase one of my plan to restore the deck to good working order. I am gratified that the crew achieved the objective perfectly.

I have been so pleased with Foundation Recovery Systems as a whole. Making an appointment was easy and they werent booked too far out, which was really nice. The inspector arrived on time and was very professional and friendly right from the beginning. Tyler Potter, our inspector, was seriously top notch. Very thorough and knowledgeable. He took the time to listen to our concerns and then performed a very thorough inspection to give us a complete picture as to what we were looking at and how it might be addressed. Unfortunately, we will have to address other concerns before we can move forward on fixing our foundation but I would have no hesitation to give Tyler a call back when the time comes and I know it will be handled correctly and professionally.

He explained what another contractor did wrong and helped me with how to respond to that contractor. He took texts and answered questions prior to us signing the contract, and then between signing and install. Then the crew who did the install was fantastic too! Foreman Greg H and his crew worked so hard and fast! They did a helpful walk through before the job began and answered questions. On the second day of install was a snowstorm and they came anyways to finish the job, even though they could have delayed. One of the guys was manually mixing cement in 0 degree temps! They laid the cement very nicely, much smoother than the contractor we had before. And I was especially impressed that the cleaned up so well, better than how they found it (with the mess from the earlier contractor).

Jonathan came out and inspected our property, was very knowledgeable and professional. He was able to point out other issues that we just simply weren't aware of. We loved that he SHOWED us how he determined the extent of the problem rather than just spouting a bunch of numbers without proper context. We learned a lot about our home that day. He made us feel comfortable about addressing the issue, which was a relief because work like this on the home can be overwhelming and mentally exhausting. Turns out the solution was a simple fix, just four piers and that corner of the home was lifted back to level and now we can finally fix the drywall damaged by the foundation settling.

I had MAJOR work done by FRS. Two 1000+ square-foot crawlspaces required full drainage systems, support structuring, wood replacement, and encapsulation. Also had foam injections into very large pool patio to level concrete as well as installing channel drain into said patio. Just thought I'd get that out there to give context to below review.Prompt response to request for information, detailed quotes and analysis, fair and easy financing, they show up and they communicate throughout, they inform you of additional things that come up on the job you may want to address, and if you are concerned about it their crews speak your language and can deal directly with you. Also affordable maintenance plans to ensure their system stays in top shape or to address any unlikely issues. FRS was definitely not the least expensive option, but after dealing with many contractors they were worth every penny for the aforementioned reasons. Time will tell if I need to use any warranties and how they handle that agreement; but after looking at the work product I don't think I will have to.

Foundation recovery came out almost 2 years ago and installed a subpump and what was needed to block the rain water from entering our new home. I've waited to review the company until now only due to wanting the pump to work and perform its job. We have been 100% satisfied with Nick Mata (tech who drew up the system, while on site) and the workers. We can now rebuild the downstairs and actually enjoy the space for our children. I cannot praise this company and, especially Ed Macdonald, enough! Ed saved me from buying a house that would have cost me a fortune to fix up. He sent me a detailed report of the repairs that would have to be implemented, including tearing off the enclosed back porch which the owner had listed as a bedroom and porch. I would have ended up with a one bedroom house and $40,000 in foundation repairs. Thanks to Ed I bought a different house which I was sure needed no foundation repairs. Ed offered to come by and check it out. He spent 45 minutes measuring humidity levels in the basement, checking the foundation, and measuring the floors to see if they were level. It was off by 3/4" in the living room and explained what the owners must have done. This is a 100 year old house which I am fine with being a little off. He said the foundation had no problems! It is so refreshing to work with honest people. Ed was so personable and took his time to explain every detail of each house. I feel like I made a new friend. Thank you so much Ed!!!
