Reflecting on KC Pet Project 5K Run

On Friday, June 7, Foundation Recovery Systems Kansas City proudly sponsored the KC Pet Project 5K Run—one of the city’s favorite events supporting animal welfare.

This annual run helps raise vital funds for the more than 16,000 homeless, abandoned, and injured pets that KC Pet Project cares for each year.

Helping animals is something our team cares deeply about, and this event made a real impact on Kansas City’s pet population. By supporting KC Pet Project, we’re also supporting the well-being of local families, volunteers, and the entire animal-loving community.

What We Achieved Together

Our team was thrilled to lace up their running shoes and hit the pavement for a cause close to our hearts. We also enjoyed connecting with the community at our booth and spreading awareness about KC Pet Project’s mission.

Together with hundreds of passionate participants, the event raised an incredible $96,625—exceeding the fundraising goal by over $20,000 and providing crucial support for animals in need.
