FRS Presenter at ASHI Home Inspectors Conference

Foundation Recovery Systems was invited to do a presentation on “Foundation Concerns and How to Fix Them” at the Great Plains ASHI Home Inspectors Conference in Kansas City. The Conference took place at the Great Wolf Lodge on September 19th and 20th. Tom Lauhon, president of the Great Plains ASHI Chapter, invited Gary Hook, General Manager of FRS, and Jeff Kortan, P.E., Director of Engineering at Foundation Supportworks, Inc., to come and speak to the over 80 Home Inspectors who attended the Conference. Foundation issues are a common concern that the Home Inspectors face every day and the presentation covered the various conditions they could run into and what the causes are behind them. Along with “Foundation Concerns” there was also a “Crawl Space and Waterproofing” presentation as well that covered mold and moisture problems that can affect a home when there is water in a basement or crawlspace and how that can contribute to health issues and more.
Tom Lauhon followed up recently with a very nice “Thank You” letter in which he stated, “Our members were blown away with your presentation. It could not have been improved in any way. As a matter of fact you were a tough act to follow.”
