Foundation Recovery Systems helps Macon Women of Today

Missouri Women of Today held their fall state meeting in Moberly on September 20th. First they learned how to do a painting as a group at A Stroke of Magic and then had lunch at The Southern Yankee, both located in downtown Moberly. Then they met back at FRS for a business meeting, personal development forum and a guest speaker from Safe Passage on the topic of “Helping Victims of Rape.” Laura Morris, FRS accountant, is a member of Macon Women of Today and is Vice President of the Missouri organization. She volunteered to host the state meeting in Moberly and FRS graciously allowed the group to use the FRS training room for their meeting. WOT is a national civic organization that is celebrating their 30 year anniversary this year. The group helps members develop leadership and organizational skills through community projects and fundraisers.
