A homeowner from Saint James, Missouri had a concrete patio that had sunk around 3 to 4 inches against her home. This homeowner had the home built and in the last couple of years it started to settle and it settled fast. Once it settled, it started to tilt towards the home and then water was running in that direction. The homeowner also had 2 other small pads that were settling away from the home, but not as bad as the patio. The FRS inspection revealed that this home was in need of some gutter corrections along with the slab repair. After preparing the polyurethane holes and injecting them, FRS was able to lift both the patio and 2 slabs close to their original position. The homeowner was very pleased with the finished job.

As you can see, there is huge seperation and settlement of the floor as it is pulling away from the wall. After filling the void beneath the floor with our Polylevel foam, this floor is now lifted and level to it's original state.
A disconnection of a gray water line at Westminster College in Fulton, MO created a void under the concrete slab. The area affected included an outside patio eating area that had shifted and dropped down approximately 1/2" to 1 1/2". Foundation Recovery Systems drilled small holes and injected polyurethane to fill the voids which in turn raised the concrete slab back up to it's proper position.
Having a pool and/or deck can cause any concrete slab to settle. And these homeowners from Tebbetts, Missouri have an in-ground pool that had cracking and uneven concrete surrounding it. The homeowner's were interested in having the South end lifted and cracks to be sealed. To fulfill the homeowner's request, FRS injected Polyurethane into the sunken concrete slab that consisted of patterns of 5/8 inch holes where the structural grade polymer was injected. Once the void was filled, the slab was lifted and holes were sealed patched with concrete. After the lift, FRS sealed all cracks in the concrete with Nexus Pro Crack Filler. The homeowners were very happy with the finished project and their level concrete slab.
The thing that these concrete repair methods all have in common is that they don't actually fix the problem. Here at Foundation Recovery Systems, we do things the right way. We use PolyLevel® to lift concrete slabs to a level position with less weight and disruption than the typical mudjacking or slab jacking method.
