Concerning homeowners in this household would consist of new hard wood buckling floor because of the high amount of moisture in this home, over 74%, which would cause other damages to the living space and health hazards from mold/rot. These homeowners just spent money on a new hardwood floor but now they were warping due to the moisture. And Foundation Recovery Systems was glad to help these homeowners reach their goals.
To accomplish the goals: FRS first had to remove all the debris from the crawl space area and the bottom section of a framed wall. The removal of the wall was so the liner could be placed in one full sheet. Once the debris was all removed, the perimeter drain was installed within the crawl space. The perimeter drain started at the first foundation partition wall and carried on down the side of the home, along the back wall and up the opposite side. The most reliable sump pump system, Triple Safe, was installed in the back corner of the crawl space with the discharge line running towards the lake. The Drainage Matting, which rests directly on the crawl space floor and has raised dimples to give the water flooding the area a channel underneath the crawl space liner and directs it to the sump pump system, was installed throughout the crawl space along with the CrawlSeal. It holds back water vapor passing through the foundation walls and directs it to the sump pump, just like the Drainage Matting. The Foundation Recovery Systems unit was placed near the Triple Safe to help remove pints of water each day and will keep dry air circulating all over the crawl space so no moisture could stay. And on the exterior of the home, FRS installed gutter discharge lines on four of their downspouts with YardWell extensions. All of these installments work together to provide the homeowners with a dry and moisture free crawl space.

The CrawlSeal has an anti-microbial protection that allows no mold or mildew to grow on it.

The YardWell extensions are camouflaged and helps keep roof water away from the foundation.
